Sessions
The EUREX equity-index session is the regular trading session context for European equity index futures — the DAX, EURO STOXX 50 and SMI complexes. Session context helps a trader understand when a listed market is open; it does not identify a trade.
EUREX equity index futures sessions are referenced in Central European Time. Trading hours and holiday schedules change throughout the year, so the official exchange source must be checked for the current schedule.
Knowing when a market's regular session runs helps a trader understand when the benchmark and its derivatives are most active. It does not indicate what will happen in the market, when to trade, or whether a model setup will qualify.
Exchange holidays and maintenance windows alter normal schedules. Always confirm the current calendar and hours on the official EUREX source before planning around a session.
