The DAX futures complex on EUREX tracks the DAX index of Germany's 40 largest and most liquid listed companies. It spans the full-size FDAX contract and the smaller Mini-DAX (FDXM) and Micro-DAX (FDXS) variants.
The DAX is Germany's leading blue-chip benchmark. EUREX lists DAX derivatives in several contract sizes so traders can choose a position size that fits their account, and the smaller variants change per-point value, margin requirements and risk in kind.
The DAX family includes the full-size future (FDAX), the Mini-DAX (FDXM) and the Micro-DAX (FDXS). Each is a DAX product with its own contract size — use the matching contract for your position sizing.
DAX futures trade in sessions referenced in Central European Time on EUREX. Confirm current trading hours, holidays and all contract terms on the official EUREX page before trading.
