Risk Disclosure
Please read this disclosure carefully before using Iron Ledger models or membership materials.
Trading futures, options, equities, exchange-traded funds, commodities and other financial instruments involves risk of loss and is not suitable for every person. Leveraged products can produce losses rapidly, and losses may exceed the amount initially committed where the product and account terms allow.
Iron Ledger provides general, non-personalized research and software tools. Model output is not a recommendation or instruction to enter, exit or manage any trade. You retain full control and responsibility for every decision, including whether to participate, position size, order type and risk limits.
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results. They may not account fully for commissions, fees, slippage, latency, liquidity, changing market conditions, data quality, implementation differences or the psychological and financial pressures of live trading.
Past performance, whether actual, simulated or replayed, is not indicative of future results. Every model can experience losing trades, drawdowns, changing behaviour and periods of underperformance. A model may be refined, paused or retired when evidence no longer supports its continued use.
Charts, scripts, alerts, internet connections, data feeds, brokers, exchanges and third-party platforms can fail, lag or behave unexpectedly. Displayed prices may differ from executable prices. You are responsible for verifying orders, positions, account status and protective risk controls through your broker.
Consider your experience, objectives and financial circumstances before trading. Where appropriate, consult an independently qualified financial, legal or tax professional. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
