M2K / RTY — Micro and E-mini Russell 2000

The Micro E-mini Russell 2000 (M2K) and E-mini Russell 2000 (RTY) are US equity index futures tracking the Russell 2000 small-cap index, traded on CME Group. M2K is the smaller-sized version of the Russell futures complex.

What it is

The Russell 2000 futures complex tracks the Russell 2000 index of smaller US companies, giving exposure to the small-cap segment of the US equity market. The Micro E-mini (M2K) is the smaller-sized contract in the complex, designed for smaller position sizes than the E-mini (RTY).

Session context

Russell 2000 futures trade in defined sessions referenced in Chicago time. Confirm the current trading hours, holidays and all contract terms on the official CME Group page before trading.
